Riso Print Project

The abstract composition, which uses the map of the Historical Peninsula in Istanbul and the October letters inspired by the font of the famous Dutch graphic designer Wim Crouwel, was designed with the Riso print method.

The Historical Peninsula is the most important region of Istanbul in terms of culture and history... Small letters and maps were used to create abstract compositions. In addition, halftone patterns were used as one of the layers. Blue was chosen inspired by the colour of the Bosphorus. Blue and black created an elegant and sophisticated combination in the print. The richness of black added a sense of depth and elegance, while blue offered a cool and calming element.
